A WELCOME MESSAGE TO PASTORS
I am writing this letter to introduce you to the ministry God
has entrusted to me.
As an itinerant minister, my purpose in ministry is to be an asset to the local
church and pastor in ministering to those living with unsaved loved ones. God
has given me a unique gift to minister to the unequally yoked. Why? Because
I am an example of the believers in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit,
in faith, in purity; and I have given myself wholly to this gift.
It is an exciting story how God placed First Peter Three on my heart in 1982,
and how it ultimately changed my view concerning my unequally yoked marriage.
There were ten years of wilderness experiences where God taught me many
lessons that ultimately opened my eyes to the importance of marriage in the
sight of God. After twenty-eight years of marriage, my husband went home to be with the Lord.
His salvation meant more to me than anything else.
In obedience to God’s call to fulfill the vision and purpose He had given to
me, I attended the National Bible College, Fort Washington, Maryland; Rhema
Bible Training Center, Tulsa, Oklahoma; and the Church of God Ministerial Affirmation
Program, Columbia, Maryland. I am presently a member of the National Church
of God in Fort Washington, Maryland, Dr. Stephen L. Lowery, Senior Pastor.
Today, marriages are severely under attack by the enemy. When I hear statistics
like 1 out of every 2 marriages today will end in divorce, it grieves my spirit.
What’s even more alarming is the fact that the divorce rate among Christians
is slightly higher than the secular community. Something is wrong with this
picture. God has given us (Christians) all the tools we need to withstand the
forces of the enemy in our marriages. We have the Lord who will never leave
us or forsake us; the Word, which is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our
path; and the Holy Spirit who will lead and guide us into all truths. It’s time
to put these tools to work in Christian marriages.
A “SARA’S DAUGHTERS” Seminar will include (3 sessions) that will:
-
Encourage women who are unequally yoked and believing God
for their husband’s salvation to look at their behavior in the marriage to
ensure that they are not a hindrance to God’s plan for their husband’s lives.

Help women to see themselves not as victims, but as victors
with unique opportunities to glorify God.

Provide guidance on how to start a Sara’s Daughters Women’s
Support Group in your church.
